Emerson’s Power & Water Solutions is seeking a Co-Op Engineer to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects in energy generation and water infrastructure.

Based in Cranberry Township, PA, Blue Bell, PA, or Detroit, MI, you will work with experienced engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and tackle engineering challenges from day one.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Enrollment in a formal co-op program as part of your curriculum, with return for multiple rotations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects that support reliable energy generation and clean water infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with a global team of engineers and technical professionals.
  • Learn and apply automation technologies, engineering processes, and industry-leading products.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Experience how engineering solutions are developed to balance technical requirements, customer needs, project schedules, and business objectives
  • Partner with senior engineers who will provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development
  • Collaborate with fellow co‑op students on team‑based and cross‑functional projects
  • Build technical, project, and problem‑solving skills through meaningful hands‑on experience
