Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of project engineering experience in manufacturing, water, or public works.
• Hands-on ownership of engineered equipment projects end-to-end.
• Strong ability to read fabrication drawings and verify fit and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from order receipt through shipment, managing schedule and budget.
• Serve as the customer-facing engineer on each project with external stakeholders.
• Prepare submittals, O&M docs, and project schedules; coordinate across teams.
• Ensure compliance with public works specs, prevailing wage, and approvals.
• Coordinate with fabrication shop and outside fabricators on drawings and sequencing.
• Review drawings for fit, function, manufacturability before shop.
• Participate in weekly project engineering and fabrication meetings to move backlog.
