Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 4+ years of project engineering experience in manufacturing, water and wastewater, or public works.
• Hands-on experience owning engineered equipment projects end to end.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineered equipment projects from order receipt through shipment, holding schedule and budget.
• Serve as the customer-facing engineer on each project, interfacing with engineers, contractors, municipalities, and end users.
• Prepare and manage submittal packages, O&M documentation, project schedules, and internal coordination across departments.
• Work with public works requirements: specifications, prevailing wage, compliance, and approvals.
• Coordinate with fabrication shop and external fabricators on drawings, build sequencing, and inspections.
• Review drawings and designs for fit, function, and manufacturability before shop release.
• Participate in weekly project engineering and fabrication meetings to keep backlog moving.
