Job summary

HR Green is seeking a Project Engineer to support our Water Resources team on local and national projects, spanning planning, modeling, design, and construction. You will work across Water Resources, Potable Water, and Wastewater disciplines, perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, assist with master planning, and support field activities and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with GIS, Civil 3D and/or Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of water resources projects (stormwater, flood mitigation).
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Collaborate across Water Resources, Wastewater, and Potable Water teams.
• Assist with master planning and long-term solutions.
• Conduct field visits and support construction activities.
• Communicate with project teams, clients, and contractors.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll work on local and projects and gain experience across the full project lifecycle — from planning and modeling through design and construction.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• ~4+ years of experience
• PE license (or ability to obtain to obtain with 6 months)
• Experience with GIS, Civil 3D and/or Revit .
