Job summary

HR Green, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in St. Louis, Missouri to support the Water Resources team. The role involves designing and delivering water projects, performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and collaborating across disciplines. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, approximately 4+ years of experience, and ideally hold a PE license. As a Project Engineer, you’ll work on local and national projects and gain experience across the full project lifecycle — from planning and modeling through design and construction.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the design and delivery of water resources projects (stormwater, flood mitigation, stream stabilization)
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • Collaborate across Water Resources, Wastewater, and Potable Water teams
  • Assist with master planning efforts and long-term solutions
  • Conduct field visits and support construction activities
  • Communicate with project teams, clients, and contractors
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • ~4+ years of experience
  • PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Experience with GIS, Civil 3D and/or Revit preferred.
