Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TxDOT procedures.
• Experience with Large Scale TxDOT Projects is a plus.
• Technical Training Experience is a bonus.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE

• Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing schematic designs for TxDOT and local government projects.
• Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.

• Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Mentoring direct reports, and conveying knowledge to others

“MUST HAVE” QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer

• 5+ years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TxDOT procedures
• Effective communication skills to engage with other employee-owners.

• Experience with MicroStation ORD

• Experience with Large Scale TxDOT Projects

• Advanced skills in specialized software programs
