It is an entry-level role suitable for individuals with completed education in civil or structural engineering. The role involves performing structural engineering design tasks such as load determinations, code research, structural design calculations, and drafting in CAD and Revit, under supervision.

Compensation

Base pay range: $32.98/hr - $41.00/hr. Your actual pay will depend on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Produce plans, reports, and assist with specifications
  • Develop drafting and project standards
  • Assist in preparation of inspection reports
  • Perform quality control and assurance
  • Conduct structural analysis and calculations for structures and retaining walls
  • Draft structural designs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 0-4 years of experience or internship
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, with the goal to obtain PE within five years
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Military experience and design experience in government markets are preferred
  • Knowledge of Building Codes (IBC), UFC for DoD, and experience with AutoCAD and Revit are preferred
