Job summary

Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Building Project Engineer in our Structural Business Unit in O'Fallon, MO. This role requires 8+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer license in Illinois, Missouri, or Arkansas.

The candidate will perform structural calculations and prepare drawings to meet client requirements. Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering with MS preferred, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Master of Science in Civil Engineering (preferred)
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Missouri, or Arkansas
• Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois (preferred)
• Experience with structural design and detailing of water or wastewater plant structures or similar structures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must complete a background check
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

SALARY RANGE:

The target salary range for this position is $95,000 to $140,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
