Job summary

GFE Structural, a Boulder-based structural firm, seeks a Project Engineer who wants real ownership early. You’ll take projects from concept through construction, build clean plan sets, and get on site when it matters.

You’ll use AutoCAD daily, with Revit, residential and wood/timber experience as strong pluses; you’ll grow toward a PE with mentorship from licensed engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering (ABET/EAC preferred).
• Approximately 2–4 years of construction/structural engineering experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Since 1988, GFE Structural has designed homes, commercial buildings, and public works across Colorado’s Front Range. We’re a Boulder-based structural firm that works side by side with owners, architects, and contractors — and we’re hiring a Project Engineer who wants real ownership early.

You’ll take projects from concept through construction, build clean plan sets, get on site when it matters, and grow toward PE with mentorship from licensed engineers. AutoCAD day to day; Revit, residential, and wood/timber experience are strong pluses.

Compensation: Approximately $70,000 - $80,000 per year, negotiable with stronger experience.

• ~2–4 years in construction / structural engineering
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred: residential, wood/timber, Revit, and EIT experience.
