French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Project Engineer for our Structural Department in Wall, NJ. You will support planning, design, and delivery of structural projects for diverse buildings and coordinate with architectural and MEP teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 5 years of consulting experience, NJ PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit. Competitive benefits accompany a strong, growth-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 5 years structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.
• PE license in NJ.
• Working knowledge of building codes and structural analysis/design software.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and related documentation.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Support construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, RFIs, and field observations.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Engage in mentorship and professional development opportunities, progressively taking on greater project responsibility.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
