Job summary

Kovan Technology Solutions in the United States is seeking an experienced Project Engineer Structural for a shipyard/marine project located in Sabine Pass, TX. This is an onsite, contract-based role spanning roughly 6 to 8 months, supporting structural engineering activities and site coordination.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specs, ensuring ABS Class Rule compliance, supporting steel repair and construction, and preparing technical reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with shipyard/marine projects.
• Strong knowledge of ABS Class Rules.
• Experience with steel repair and steel construction.
• Structural engineering experience in marine/shipyard environments.
• Experience with vessel structural repairs, modifications, or construction.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, construction & site teams.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Sabine Pass, TX.
