Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Orlando is seeking a Scrum Master to guide 1-2 agile teams through the development of operational baseline updates, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.

You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, promote Agile best practices, and collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a groomed backlog, report risks, and track metrics. Local on-site work and a secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Local to Orlando and able to come on-site
• Scrum Master certification is required
• Active Secret clearance required
• Experience in IT/Fullstack/Software or systems engineering with engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Guide 1-2 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates
• Facilitate all Scrum Meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
• Promote Agile principles and best practices within the team and across the organization
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog
• Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders
• Track team performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress
• Ensure transparency of progress through burndown charts, dashboards, etc
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, reporting requirements, and security protocols
• Must be local to Orlando and willing to come on-site as needed
