Job summary

Timberlab is seeking an entry level/Intern Project Engineer in Portland, OR to support management, help achieve project profitability and schedule goals. The role involves documenting meetings, maintaining files and logs, assisting with CPM schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety plans.

Candidates should have an engineering or construction management-related degree and 1–3 years of construction-related experience or internships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• 1–3 years of construction-related experience, or an internship.
• Field experience a plus (e.g., carpenter).
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Attend and document project meetings (minutes).
• Set up and maintain electronic filing system.
• Update and maintain drawings, specs and logs.
• Assist with CPM schedules and master CPM schedule.
• Maintain site safety plan and pre-task planning process.
• Prepare and maintain PCI logs on CMiC system.
• Review, analyze, and transmit submittals.
• Prepare and maintain submittal and procurement logs.
