Position: Project Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL

We are looking for a talented engineer who is interested in working on exciting projects in our Tampa office. In this role, you will be part of a growing team, contributing to transportation designs and mentoring less experienced staff members. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong technical background.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for transportation projects
• Geometric, maintenance of traffic, drainage, and signing/pavement marking design as necessary
• Development and mentoring of junior staff
• Interaction with clients on technical issues
• Development and quality control of construction plans, quantities, and specifications
• Development of 3D roadway models
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a roadway engineer
• Ability to work well and self-motivate in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills, both internal and external
