Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is a leading automotive supplier, seeking a Project Engineer to support design and development from concept through commercialization. The role sits at the core of the engineering team, driving projects with cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include budgeting, CAD/CAM usage, BOM understanding, and implementing manufacturing improvements while ensuring quality and cost targets are met. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial
• Proficiency in CAD, CATIA, NX, etc.
• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision and strong time management

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/yearly budget.
• Utilize CAD and CAM software and Microsoft Access.
• Understand Bill of Materials.
• Apply engineering principles to design and production of goods.
• Identify and implement design or process improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement meetings and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain process documentation and work instructions.
