Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to support plant-wide quality improvements, lead PPAP processes, and drive continuous improvement. You will work with suppliers and customers to ensure products meet specifications and coordinate corrective actions.

Applicants should have knowledge of Six Sigma, GDT/Blueprint reading, and strong analytical skills, with supervisory and communication capabilities to guide teams and document results in accordance with ISO/IATF standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality management systems and PPAP processes.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma.
• Strong documentation and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer issues and review testing requirements to ensure systems meet them.
• Work with suppliers to ensure testing requirements are met and oversee PPAP process.
• Ensure production is producing quality product to specifications.
• Support upkeep of the calibration system and maintain records.
• Provide onsite support to customers and suppliers as needed.
• Support prototype builds and document per prototype checklist inspection process.
• Collect SPC data and report monthly; collaborate with manufacturing on process improvements.
• Assist in developing job instructions and procedures for manufacturing.
• Document all activities as required and maintain compliance with company guidelines and standards.
• Define and implement customer indicators to monitor satisfaction and report to management.
• Make decisions regarding disposition of non-conforming material and containment actions.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management and advise on reporting improvements.
