Vistra Corporate Services Company in Irving, Texas, seeks a Project Engineer to ensure engineering and design phases are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and per project requirements.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining engineering standards for systems and equipment, verifying site designs align with fleet guidelines, and preparing SOWs for projects. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Formación

• BS or greater in an Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years relevant experience (power generation operations, maintenance, engineering).
• Experience in major Power Plant Electrical System Design.
• Demonstrates strong communication, budgeting and project management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop engineering design standards/guidelines/specifications for each system/component per Vistra standards.
• Create/maintain a repository for all project designs and fleet standards with lessons learned.
• Coordinate to ensure engineering and equipment standards are incorporated into each project design and Contract Strategy.
• Complete a hazard analysis of all projects during pre-construction phase.
• Review 10%, 30%, 60%, IFC designs for construction projects issued by EPC contractor.
• Develop Engineering SOWs & Owners Engineering SOWs.
