Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd in Florida is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support large load and power infrastructure projects.

You will manage technical aspects from due diligence through project completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related).
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
• Experience supporting power, infrastructure, large load, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Data centers and/or power delivery experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and engineering activities for large load and power infrastructure projects from due diligence through project completion.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project development and execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary internal engineering resources and subject matter experts.
• Manage external engineering resources, consultants, technical deliverables, and project requirements.
• Review engineering deliverables for quality, completeness, and alignment with project requirements.
• Support internal stakeholders with technical evaluations, recommendations, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate engineering activities across electrical, mechanical, civil, and other relevant disciplines.
• Resolve complex technical issues affecting major engineering and project activities.
• Make engineering decisions and recommendations with significant impact on project execution.
• Identify technical risks and work collaboratively with project teams to develop appropriate solutions.
• Support standardized engineering practices and consistent delivery across the project portfolio.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering leadership to maintain project schedules and technical milestones.

Project Engineer – Power & Large Load Projects

Location: Juno Beach, FL
Contract: 12 Months
Schedule: Standard Office Hours – EST
Pay Rate: Up to $67.94 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex large load and power infrastructure projects.

This position will manage technical aspects of projects from initial due diligence through project completion, providing engineering leadership and coordinating multidisciplinary resources throughout the project lifecycle.

The Project Engineer will work closely with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, subject matter experts, and external engineering partners to support standardized, high-quality, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required, including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
• Engineering and project management experience supporting power, infrastructure, large load, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Experience within data centers and/or power delivery is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating internal and external engineering resources.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively coordinate technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience supporting electric utilities, power delivery, transmission and distribution, large electrical loads, data centers, mission-critical facilities, or major infrastructure projects will be particularly well suited to this position.

Direct data center experience is preferred but not essential where candidates can demonstrate strong project engineering experience within power delivery or comparable large-scale infrastructure environments.
