Job summary

Coperion is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical execution of pneumatic conveying, material handling, and dust collection projects. You will coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams from order receipt to commissioning and closeout.

The role emphasizes design reviews, document control, and providing schedule updates. Travel is expected 20%–35% as projects require site presence and commissioning support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead technical aspects of projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects from order receipt through design, customer approval, manufacturing, delivery, commissioning, and customer turnover.
• Coordinate activities with project managers, customers, vendors, manufacturing, automation, and installation teams.
• Serve as a primary or secondary customer contact throughout project execution.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) with appropriate equipment tagging and process information.
