Job summary

Harper Construction Company seeks a Project Engineer for a military project located at Tinker in Tinker, OK. You will support safety-first execution, RFI/submittal processes, and schedule updates with the Project Manager and Superintendent.

The role offers growth within a family-owned Design-Build firm with opportunities to work on aircraft hangers, barracks, and HQ buildings, and to learn from experienced professionals across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with reading drawings and specifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of Procore document control system preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Emphasize safety during daily project responsibilities.
• Create, manage, process and log RFIs and submittals.
• Develop and update project schedule with PM and Superintendent.
• Promote sustainable construction and LEED coordination.
• Maintain project progress photographs.
• Collaborate with PM in purchasing including scoping and take-offs.
• Monitor material deliveries and align with schedule.
• Develop knowledge of contract documents.
• Facilitate communication among project team members.
• Manage project close-out, including warranty letters and acceptance.
