Job summary

Harper Construction is seeking a Project Engineer for a military project at Tinker, OK. You will prioritize safety, manage RFIs and submittals, and update the project schedule with the PM and Superintendent.

The role involves LEED coordination, recording progress photos, and supporting purchasing and logistics to keep the project on track. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with reading drawings and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Emphasize safety during daily project responsibilities.
• Create, manage, process and log RFIs and submittals.
• Develop and update project schedule with Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Promote sustainable construction and coordinate LEED requirements.
• Maintain project progress photographs.
• Collaborate with Project Manager in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
• Monitor material deliveries, ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
• Develop knowledge of contract documents.
• Facilitate communication among project team members.
• Manage project close-out, including warranties and acceptance of work.
