Job summary

Komline is seeking a Project Engineer at our Michigan facility to drive design and documentation for equipment and services. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, manage BoM and specifications, and interface with vendors and customers to meet project needs.

You’ll participate in planning, scheduling and field installation activities as needed. The role requires a BS in engineering and hands-on experience with SolidWorks and CAD tools, plus strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, civil, manufacturing or related engineering discipline and minimum relevant experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 2D CAD tools such as AutoCAD.
• Strong time management, multitasking and ability to maintain project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail parts and assemblies utilizing 3D and 2D CAD software.
• Interface with designers and engineers in a team environment.
• Generate documentation to facilitate manufacture, including drawings, BOMs and specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and customers to satisfy design requirements.
• Maintain project engineering planning documents to communicate status.
• Potential to guide and coordinate efforts of other engineers and technicians.
• Deliver engineering designs, calculations, processes and procedures for assigned projects.
• Promote knowledge generation and distribution related to products and technology.
