Job summary

DC Fabricators is seeking a Project Engineer to implement project engineering functions and coordinate with multiple departments. The role involves performing detailed calculations, designing parts, and solving problems with FEA or thermal simulations.

You will support project schedules, cost analyses, and ERP-based product support. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and has exposure to heavy manufacturing, with strong communication and organizational skills to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Heavy manufacturing environment experience desirable.
Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed technical/mathematical calculations to solve design issues.
Design specific parts or minor phases of a project as directed.
Define theoretical problems for analysis via FEA, thermal simulation, or Mathcad.
Apply methods and techniques to work assignments with initiative.
Assist other engineering personnel in calculations, design layout, testing, etc.
Support preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and cost analyses.
Review and check work of others on a project.
Utilize ERP system in product support tasks.
Attend technical meetings and stay abreast of technological advancements.
Perform special projects as directed.
