Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. in Sullivan, Indiana, is seeking a Project Engineer responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards on site.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and vendors, lead contract administration, oversee field installations, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Experience and/or initiation to enroll in electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• High level interpersonal, communication, organization and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare contract administration for assigned projects.
• Execute and direct project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct on-site visits to oversee project layout, scheduling of materials, tools, equipment and information.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and interact with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors and vendors.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager, Project Manager, General Superintendent and HR; review documents and direct construction activities.
• Coordinate field installations and project closings; ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
