Smart Road Technology (SRT), a division of CMES, Inc., is expanding—and we’re looking for a Project Engineer with DOT experience in ITS, traffic signals, or highway lighting to help deliver critical infrastructure across Metro Atlanta and the Southeast. We are seeking to add an experienced Project Engineer to our team to support our continued rapid growth within the heavy highway, roadside construction industry. This is a fulltime position located in Norcross, GA. The basic function of the Project Engineer for CMES, Inc. will be primarily responsible for assisting Project Manager as required by the current work in the structure’s division split between estimating and operations. This position requires experience, organization, and initiative.
3+ years of Project Engineer experience in DOT or heavy civil construction, but general construction experience will be taken into consideration as well.
REQUIRED: ITS, Traffic Signal, or Highway Lighting experience
Strong understanding of GDOT standards and roadway projects
