Job summary

Murray Company in Las Vegas, NV invites current students to join a summer internship in the Operations group, reporting to project managers. You will gain hands-on project management experience across pre-construction, fabrication and field installation for mechanical projects.

The program provides training opportunities, with typical hours 7am–4pm, 40 hours/week for 10–12 weeks, beginning as early as May 2027. This is a paid internship at $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to take initiative and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating mechanical projects.
• Support review of designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with managing submittals, RFIs, change orders and reports.
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress and compliance.
• Support cost estimates and budgets preparation.
• Aid in implementing quality control measures.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Assist with safety protocol implementation and compliance.
