Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Project Engineer Intern in Austin, TX. You will assist the project team and learn construction industry processes, contracts, budgets, and policies.

Expect hands-on exposure to site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety while applying classroom knowledge to real projects. You must be enrolled in a construction-related bachelor's program and available for a minimum three-month term at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field.
• Must be within 18 months of graduating.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of three months.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts and change orders.
