Job summary

U.S. Engineering is offering a Summer Internship Program as a full-time, 10–12-week internship from May through August 2027. As an intern, you’ll gain relevant work experience, work with our top leaders, and participate in orientation, job walks, and a community service event.

The position provides competitive pay, travel to project sites, and exposure to cross-functional teams in mechanical construction. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in construction-related field.
• Relevant technical or administrative experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, RFIs, and submittals.
• Project coordination: Support scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Fieldwork: Site visits and inspections to verify installations and designs.
• Problem solving: Identify and troubleshoot engineering issues during design and implementation.
• Collaboration: Work with electrical engineers, designers, and PMs to achieve goals.
• Learning and development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
• Record meeting minutes and document substitution requests.
• Assist PM in developing client relationships.
• Prepare and maintain productivity reports.
