Job summary

OEG, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to support each project with design tracking and coordination across BIM/CAD, pre-construction, operations, and project management.

You will assist with documenting costs, schedules, and communications on active electrical construction projects. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an engineering degree, show a strong interest in electrical construction, and are prepared for a background check and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program with a strong interest in electrical construction.
• Willing to undergo periodic background checks due to security sensitive locations.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Support each project with design tracking and coordination across BIM/CAD, Pre-Construction, Operations and Project Management.
• Assist with documentation of costs, schedules and communications on active electrical construction projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Engineer Intern is responsible for supporting each project with design tracking and coordination of all aspects of construction. They may work in any one of the following disciplines: BIM/CAD, Pre-Construction, Operations, and Project Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program with a strong interest in electrical construction.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Due to the need for unescorted access to security sensitive business locations and/or systems, must submit to periodic background checks.
• Requires travel: Minimal (up to 10%)

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• General knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Requires a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
