Job summary

OEG, Inc. in Eugene, OR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide overall supervision and technical management on electrical construction projects from bid through closeout. This role focuses on safety, quality, schedule, and cost control while leading multi-project teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction.
  • Knowledge of electrical construction from a five-year apprentice program.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing overall project management support for several small to medium projects or on one very large project. Provide overall supervision and technical management on construction project sites from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer. The Senior Project Manager shall be responsible for all the major responsibilities and essential job functions. They may choose to delegate to more appropriate persons on their team, however they ultimately are responsible.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A working knowledge of electrical construction at a level normally acquired through completion of five-year electrical apprentice program; and
  • 5+ years' experience in a project management position in construction industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline
  • Two years' experience in Mission Critical Data Center Construction

  • Strong management skills; excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
