Ryan Companies invites you to join our team as a Project Engineer Intern for 2027. The program offers a Summer internship (May–August) or Spring/Fall Co-ops (Jan–Aug or May–Dec), delivering hands-on exposure to budgets, contracts, change orders and job-site coordination.

You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or a closely related field and will be within 18 months of graduating.

• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Engineer Intern. This position is available in 2027 as a summer internship running from May-August, or a Spring Co-op running from January-August, or a Fall Co-op running from May-December.

Some Things You Can Expect To Do

• Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.

To Be Successful In This Role

• You must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.
• Be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

You Will Really Stand Out If You

• Have a general knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
• Have the ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Possess the ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings.
• Communicate clearly orally and in writing.
