Job summary

Bemis Manufacturing Company is seeking a Project Engineer to collaborate with sales and marketing, evaluate technical aspects, and quote new products. You will utilize CAD and Mold Flow software, assess DFMA feasibility, and coordinate multiple projects across facilities.

Travel to customer sites and sales opportunities is expected. The role emphasizes design leadership, material selection, and customer-facing responsibilities to drive growth while leveraging Bemis’ global tooling and processing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Polymer Science or equivalent experience required.
3-5 years' experience in plastic injection molding - focused on Engineering and/or Tooling.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

Travel with Sales Managers on sales opportunities.
Provide leadership on part design and material selection with the customer.
Manage incoming RFQs, developing quotes for new products, utilizing CAD/Mold Flow Software.
Track quotation delivery performance and conversion rate.
Conduct initial feasibility/ DFMA analysis.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Provide insight into the evolution of customer needs.
Other duties as assigned.
