Job summary

Xometry in Waltham, MA is looking for a DFM Project Engineer to evaluate manufacturability of customer designs and recommend solutions. You will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies and interfacing with machine shops and customers to ensure successful order execution.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically regarding Injection Molding. The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually along with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience focused on Injection Molding.
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the sourcing strategy for production.
• Interface directly with machine shops and customers to troubleshoot issues.
• Expand capabilities of manufacturing partner network as needed.
