Tighe & Bond, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to join the Transportation team in our Middletown or Shelton, CT offices. You will design roadways, manage diverse projects, and collaborate with DOTs, municipalities, and private clients to deliver sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Design and develop roadway/highway projects with alignment and ADA compliance.
• Prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates per CT DOT standards.
• Perform traffic analyses and transportation planning reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist roadway design for horizontal/vertical alignment.
• Prepare engineering plans and cost estimates per standards.
• Conduct traffic studies and safety analyses.
• Coordinate with subs, traffic, structural, and environmental teams.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
