Job summary

Enerfab NW Indiana/Chicago is seeking a Project Engineer II to support the Senior Project Manager on large-scale construction projects. You will help with planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 6 years of related experience, plus proficiency with project management software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 6 years of relevant experience in estimating, project coordination, or construction management.
• Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, budgets, and cost analyses; collaborate with Estimating department.
• Assist in developing project strategies, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather input and align goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; monitor milestones and risks.
• Support QA, safety, and contract administration activities.
• Prepare and distribute status reports and cost-tracking documents.
