Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Greenwood, IN, seeks a Project Engineer II – Strategic Ops to drive engineering and operational projects that boost manufacturing efficiency, process improvements, and strategic initiatives across Kitting, Manufacturing, and Service. You will provide project management and technical direction from concept through implementation.

You will lead small to moderately complex projects, support NPD launches, process improvements, and readiness initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
2+ years of engineering, manufacturing, or project execution experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to collaborate across functional teams and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead small to moderately complex engineering and operational projects.
Develop project plans, track milestones, identify risks.
Support manufacturing strategies, process improvements, and readiness initiatives.
Evaluate processes, layouts, and capacity for efficiency gains.
Coordinate implementation and handoff to operations and CI teams.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and QA for alignment.
