Job summary

SNC is seeking a Project Engineer I to support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering aspects in product development projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely milestone delivery, manage schedules, and assist with technical matters in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience; higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
• Strong engineering principles and practice knowledge.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills.
• Basic understanding of requirements management, system design, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Revise plans as projects evolve to account for changes.
• Provide technical support for artifacts and reviews (PDR, CDR, TIMs, IPT reviews).
• Plan and ensure release of technical documentation and program artifacts.
• Manage configuration data (drawings, specs, test plans/reports).
• Identify risks and assist in mitigation planning.
• Maintain project documentation (design specs, test plans, meeting minutes).
• Lead cross-functional teams to solve problems across simple and complex projects.
