Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the Fort Liberty project in Fayetteville, NC. This role supports the project team with coordination, procurement, and on-site quality checks, contributing to safe, efficient construction execution.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Some relocation may be required to support the Building division and Project Management team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction-related experience required or preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Internships or co-op experience is a plus.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
