Job summary

The Walsh Group, Fort Liberty project in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Project Engineer to support our federal building program. The role focuses on solving problems, data-driven decisions, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-growing, family-owned environment with the backing of a large company.

Responsibilities include document control, coordinating the project team, materials procurement, QA/QC, subcontractor coordination, layout, progress photos, equipment management, safety, and estimating.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
