Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Project Engineer I to support engineering projects through planning, coordination and execution of tasks, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.

You will report to the Project Manager, work on a hybrid schedule, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering and 0–2 years of applied experience, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help meet project objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will report directly to our Project Manager and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

New hires are expected to report onsite 100% M-F for the first 90 days of employment.

In this role, you will impact project success by providing essential engineering support, helping to maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, and facilitating communication across teams.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering)
• Minimum 0-2 years of applied engineering experience

• Validation and Verification (V&V)/Development and Qualification Testing experience is a plus
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic actuation is a plus
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) skills is a plus
