Honeywell Aerospace US LLC seeks an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist (Finance) in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule. Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Database development or Systems/tools development
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited technical discipline (sciences/engineering/mathematics)
- Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with relational databases, data management workflows and process automation
- Experience with data reporting and analytics tools
- Familiarity with Agile tools or environments (e.g., IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management)
- Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration

Job description
As an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will provide critical technical support and coordination to engineering teams within the aerospace sector. You will facilitate the resolution of engineering issues, support project execution, and ensure smooth communication between cross-functional teams to drive successful aerospace product development and delivery.
You will report directly to our engineering management and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
New hires can expect to be onsite 100% for the first 90 days.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of aerospace engineering projects by providing timely support and ensuring alignment across teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality aerospace solutions.

- Collaborate with program controls and program management to:
- Develop custom reporting
- Facilitate reporting of critical data relating to project success to departmental financial objectives
- Partner with engineering and procurement teams to:
- Define and implement effective hardware tracking processes
- Own demand creation
- Drive Purchase Order creation
- Support and modernize databases and systems by:
- Maintaining existing tools
- Migrating existing tools to modern platforms to support Digital Transformation initiatives
Relocation assistance could be available for eligible applicants
- 2+ years of experience in Database development or Systems/tools development (internal tools, engineering systems, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with database platforms, with strong working knowledge of relational databases. data management workflows and process automation
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI and/or Microsoft Project
- Experience with data reporting and analytics tools
- Experience with system migrations or legacy modernization
- Familiarity with Agile tools or environments (such as IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management)
- Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
- Strong communicator who can work across engineering, operations, and leadership teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Passion for building systems that improve efficiency and enable engineering success
