Job summary
A construction management firm in North Charleston is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee site project administration in heavy/highway construction. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and expertise in project budgeting and scheduling. Responsibilities include preparing pay estimates, managing cost reports, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Competitive salary and robust benefits package offered.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in heavy/highway construction.
Familiarity with grading, drainage, paving, bridge construction, and retaining walls.
Able to pass a Drug Test and legally eligible to work in the US.
Responsibilities
Handle all on-site project administration and project document control.
Prepare monthly pay estimates and review owner and subcontractor pay estimates.
Plan, coordinate, and manage construction engineering activities and schedules.
Update and maintain the project CPM schedule and lead regular review meetings.
Prepare and coordinate job budgets, change orders, and cost reports for approval.
Identify issues early and work proactively to develop solutions.
