Kimmel & Associates represents a well-established construction client seeking a Project Engineer for heavy civil and underground utility projects across the Mid-Atlantic. This onsite role collaborates with Project Managers and field teams to support planning, cost control, documentation, procurement, and execution.

The ideal candidate brings a civil engineering or construction management background with 1–2 years of construction experience (or 3–4 years as a Project/Office Engineer), strong

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–4 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Office Engineer.
• Experience in heavy civil construction or underground utilities preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist PMs with project setup, budgets, takeoffs, purchasing, and cost reporting.
• Process payment requisitions, invoices, billings, and AR docs.
• Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, subcontracts, and POs.
• Maintain project records (drawings, specs, manuals, reports).
• Assist with CPM schedules and look-ahead planning; track delays and changes.
• Prepare change orders for PM review and approval.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subs to confirm materials/services.
• Maintain purchasing and change-order logs; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Support weekly project meetings and coordination efforts.
• Assist with coordination of multiple projects and oversee Office Engineer/Project Assistant.
