Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, design, and execution of heavy civil and site development projects in the southeastern U.S., mainly Georgia. Travel to various project sites is required; extended assignments may occur with occasional work from the Chattanooga, TN office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and assisting with civil construction/public infrastructure projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for secure facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of project plans (scope, budget, schedule).
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, specs, and drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with quality control manager to ensure adherence to guidelines.
