Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support civil infrastructure projects across the southeastern United States, primarily Georgia, with occasional work from the Chattanooga, TN office. You will assist in planning, design, and execution, coordinate with clients and authorities, and monitor on-site activities to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secure facilities, including military bases.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and assisting with management of civil construction and/or public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Work closely with quality control manager to ensure strict guidelines are adhered to.
