Kiewit’s Northern California District is seeking Construction Field Engineers to support a major TBM and tunnel program in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on project controls, scheduling, and cost tracking on a multi-billion infrastructure project.

As a full-time, on-site position, you will read plans, update Primavera schedules, perform Time Impact Analyses, review changes, and prepare monthly reports. Travel to job sites is required and safety, quality, and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Project Controls/Project Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera.
• SAP experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience performing Monthly Schedule Updates and Time Impact Analysis.
• Ability to analyze project data and prepare management reports.
• Ability to travel and work on-site at projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Read and understand plans and specifications; visualize from 2D to 3D.
• Examine field conditions, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the project master schedule using Primavera.
• Assist with monthly Time Impact Analyses (TIAs).
• Support development of short-term schedules and progress reporting.
• Review drawings for changes and quantify impact; liaise with project teams.
• Track change orders and forecast cost and schedule impacts.
• Produce monthly schedule and cost progress reports and forecasts.
• Adhere to QA/QC procedures and assist in establishing project procedures.
• Travel to jobsites as required.
