Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer for its heavy civil construction team, based in PA with occasional site travel. You will lead planning, scheduling, cost control, and value engineering on high-profile projects, interfacing with clients and subcontractors to meet milestones and budgets.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration across stakeholders, with opportunities for growth toward a Professional Engineer certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Open to entry level with relevant internships
• Proven experience in cost control, structural engineering, and value engineering
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• A strong commitment to safety and quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and SAP
• Desire to acquire a Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of heavy civil construction projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules to meet project objectives.
• Utilize your expertise in cost control, structural engineering, and value engineering to optimize project outcomes.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Conduct regular project reviews and updates to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress.
• Identify and resolve any project issues or risks that may impact project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
• Continually seek opportunities to improve project outcomes and deliver added value to our clients
