Experienced Heavy Civil Project Engineer – Arizona

As a Project Engineer at Rummel Construction, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of assigned projects, ensuring that budgets, schedules, and quality standards are met. You will work closely with field crews, subcontractors, owners, inspectors, and the project management team.

• Create and maintain project budgets
• Develop and update project schedules
• Process change orders and manage scope adjustments
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate their work
• Write purchase agreements and purchase orders, source and order materials
• Track material quantities and material usage
• Communicate with owners and inspectors
• Collaborate with Rummel project managers and administrative staff

Location: Arizona (relocation assistance available)

Minimum Qualifications

• College degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong personal organizational skills and time‑management ability
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Project Engineer in Heavy Civil Construction
• Clean driving record (required for safe operation of company vehicle)
