Metric Geo, in partnership with a large contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage projects from buyout through closeout. The role supports project planning, field operations, and contract compliance while ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities include supporting monthly billings, reviewing shop drawings and contract specs, monitoring subcontractor compliance, and ensuring work meets codes and drawings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience, including projects >$100M.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly billings, cash flow tracking, and change order processing.
  • Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and contract specifications.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and coordinate with QA/QC teams.
