Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer for Commercial & Industrial projects in Rock Island, IL. The role supports PMs and Superintendents in planning and executing construction efforts, with emphasis on documentation, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

The position offers a pathway to professional growth within a values-driven firm. The candidate will review drawings and contracts, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality standards across all phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Support Project Managers and Superintendents in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
Assist with project documentation, cost tracking, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and help implement solutions.
Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout all phases of construction.
